So Many Books... - Random bits and pieces

So glad you had a good birthday!

Oh, thank you thank you for those Antonia Forests. Despite my determination to portion them out I simply inhaled them. Then checked on line, and yep, Peter's Room and the others I miss are still over a hundred bucks apiece.

Why isn't anyone reissuing these?

And I'm so glad about the Antonia Forests! I'll keep an eye out for any others from now on, but I think some of them are just as bad over here. Never know though!

It really doesn't surprise me that they are hard to find there, too. People hang onto them.

Even the library doesn't have them, alas.

I was having a poke around, and - this is just annoying - Girls Gone By Publishers did do most (possibly all, not sure) of her books, but they're out of print with them too! So the reprint ed of Peter's Room is STILL £40. I will definitely keep my eyes open, as I said! You never know what might turn up sometime.

It's frustrating that the GGB print runs are so small! I missed one of the books and know someone else who has just become a fan and has missed all of the reprints!
